Configuring Mail Services In Outlook Express

1. Open Outlook Express

2. On the menu bar go to Tools and select Accounts.

3. Select the Mail tab.

4. Highlight the mail connection and hit the Properties button.

5. On the General tab fill out all the information.

--The mail service will not work without the Name and Email fields filled out.

6. On the Servers tab fill out the server information.

--The first box should say "My Incoming Mail Server is a POP3 Server."

--The Incoming Mail server is pop.wnyweb.net

--The Outgoing Mail server is smtp.wnyweb.net

7. In the Incoming Mail Server select the Log On Using radio button.

8. Fill out the account name (your user id) and enter the password.

9. On the Connection tab select Connect Using My Modem and select the WNY-Web from the drop down menu.

10. Take the default settings on the security and advanced tabs.
